August 9th, 2009Sudoku Infinite: first update submitted
Today is a big day for the Mirage Team, and for two reasons.
First, the version 1.0 of the app is available on the iTunes Store (direct link to App Store), and we are very enthusiastic about it! There’s still some stuff to improve – see our second point -, but it’s a first step. To put it in Apple’s word, it’s the best Sudoku Infinite – yet.
Second, we have submitted today the first update for Sudoku Infinite. This version 1.1, once approved, will add the following features:
- Grid generation improved and faster: you won’t tell the difference for an easy grid, but trust us, for normal and hard levels, it’s more than twice as fast
- The score management has been improved: we now store the 5 top scores for each level. Better, more organized than the current list of recent scores
- The user interface has been redesigned a little. The colors have been changed for a better lisibility and simplicity. Let us know what you think (screenshot below)
- The app will be available in French and Spanish
- And we fixed a couple of bugs, which improved the stability of the app.

We learned from our mistakes, so we hope that the app, if approved, will be available in 15 days. We will keep you posted once the app has been approved or rejected (we have no reason to believe it will be rejected, but who knows?).
In the meantime, we are always welcoming feedback. Bug notices, ideas for features… You can contact us through the contact page or via email (dev.mirageteam[at]gmail[dot]com).
